Want to do something fun and creative? On the scout for a new hobby?

Whether it is just you, a couple or a few friends and family, everyone is welcome. My workshops are inclusive and informal. No experience required and nothing to bring! Check out the different workshops available below, all with links to grab your tickets.

Muesli Bowl

  • 1 ½ hours

    During this workshop of 1 1/2 hours you will make your own bowl that is the perfect size for cereal, soup, dip, icecream or whatever else fits in a bowl. This is a great workshop for an absolute beginner.

  • $60 per person

    Nothing to bring.

Large Bowl (25cm base)

  • 2 ½ hours

    Make a big bowl using slab and coil method. The bowl will be approximately 25cm diameter so you could use it as a serving bowl, salad bowl or a planter depending on the shape you make.

  • $130 per person

Six Small Plates

  • 2 ½ hours You will make a set of six small plates suitable as side plates, or for sweet treats with a cuppa.

    They will match in a swabi-swaby kind of way. Plain or patterned and textured as you like.

  • $180 per person

Platter & Two Bowls

  • 2½ hours

    Make a dip, crackers and cheese serving set. Round or oblong platter and 2 different bowls suitable for dips or olives.

    There is nothing to bring except a smile and a sense of fun. I will supply everything you need.

  • $150 per person

    Snack platter, tea, coffee provided

A Vase

  • 2 ½ hours

    Make a vase using slab and coil method. You will use a dark stoneware clay called 'Toast'. You will leave your vase for me to fire and finish with a white glaze which contrasts with the dark clay.

    You can choose the shape you make and the patterning and texture you apply.

  • $120 per person

Cheese/Butter Bell & Plate

  • 2 ½ hours You will make a beautiful two piece butter bell.

  • $120 per person

FAQs

  • Thirteen is the minimum age to attend a workshop. That is usually when people are able to follow instructions and have the necessary manual dexterity to make the set piece.

    Give me a call if you would like to discuss

  • You will leave your pieces at the end of your workshop and I will fire and glaze them in proceeding 3-4 weeks. I will email you when they are ready so you can pick up. If you are unable to pick up you can arrange to have them posted to you. Any left pieces after 2 months will either be disposed of.

    If you are visiting Tasmania I can post your work to you. 

    No further costs except optional postage/freight and packaging of finished pieces
